Every task can be assigned to Mom, your partner, or left open for your village to claim, and the Tasks page has separate tabs for Mine, your partner's list, and shared work. Appointments and milestones live on a shared calendar, and updates sync in real time, so both of you always see the same plan without anyone having to relay it.

How do I connect Starling to ChatGPT or Claude via MCP?

Starling runs a hosted MCP (Model Context Protocol) server at https://starling-app.io/mcp. Open the Integrations page in the app, copy that connection URL, and add it as a custom connector or MCP server in ChatGPT or Claude. You'll be asked to sign in and approve access, which is scoped to your own nest. After that your assistant can read your nest status, create and claim tasks, update or complete them, and manage calendar events. You can disconnect at any time from Integrations.

What tasks are included in the Starling nest checklist?

Your nest checklist spans the whole pregnancy: first-trimester items like choosing a provider and booking early scans, second-trimester items like the anatomy scan, glucose test, registry and nursery prep, and third-trimester items like packing the hospital bag, installing the car seat, choosing a pediatrician, and planning leave. You can add your own tasks at any time, assign them, set due dates, or leave them open for a friend or family member in your village to pick up.

Is my pregnancy data private and secure?

Yes. Your health information is stored in your own account with row-level security, so only you and the people you explicitly invite to your nest can see it. Bump photos and personal notes are private by default. AI chat messages are sent to a third-party model provider to generate replies, but they aren't used to train models and identifying profile data isn't attached.
